Everytime the lecturer assigned projects or assignments for us, there were only implicit instruction given. I believed that the lecturer wanted to trigger our innovation besides training our independence.
If you ask me what i have learnt in HBP, i will hesitate. Doesn't mean that i do not know what i have learnt but it is too many things i learned. Everybody does the same projects but learns different things. It is depend on what and how you think about the project. In my opinion, the lesson that we learn from each project can be divided into implicit and explicit. The explicit one are I learned to cooperate with group member, using my brain to be innovative, training myself to be tough. While the implicit one are as we think deeply into the objective of every project, it is actually helping us to slowly adapt the life of being a future architect. We need to burn the midnight oil to finish the assignment, be patient, be punctual and so forth.
Moreover, everytime the moment i finished my projects, i have a sudden excited feeling when i looked at my artwork. Even if i dint think much of what i have learnt, but the moment i looked at the work, it gave me a kind of satisfaction.
I hope to learn more in HBP =)
